The cottage is wonderful. Very well laid out with all the amenities. Very comfortable with gorgeous views of the lake. The location is fantastic, not too far from Ottawa, near enough to a town but yet feels secluded. The lake itself is crystal clear and lots of local wildlife abounded. We were there for a weekend in early June and will definitely be back!

Un chalet très beau, bien équipé autant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. Il y a beaucoup de draps et de serviettes. Le chalet était très propre. Une belle vue sur le bord de lac. Je le recommande.
Best way to start the year
We had a wonderful stay, we were 12 adults from ages 19 to 83. We spent the New Year holiday at the cottage, the whole family. The spa was great and clean.
There was plenty of everything for all of us (toilet paper, scott towels, dishes, bed sheets, towels for the spa, and shower. We all slept comfortably. The scenery is absolutely peaceful and magical in winter. The lake was frozen for ice scating, or cross country skiing. I would definitely recommend for a family gathering.
A weekend away
A great weekend away! The living space was great with a fireplace in between the living and dining, great for a nice and cozy winter weekend. Hot tub was great and the ample amount of beds/bedrooms was a great plus! The owners responded quickly and were very friendly. Would definitely return!
Beautiful location for a fall get away
These two cottages were perfect for our group of friends and their kids. We had a wonderful October visit with each other and had so many thoughtful amenities that made the stay stress free.
Will definitely be coming back.
PEACEFUL AND RELAXING
Amazing! This was truly one of the BEST vacations I have had in a long time. House tastefully decorated and clean with a view of the lake. Easy check-in and check-out, a plus! Simone responded quickly to all inquiries prior to and after booking! Upon arriving, quickly surveyed house for necessities during our visit, but found most were supplied such as toilet paper, paper towels, condiments, etc. as well as towels and bed linens. Fishing was FANTASTIC! TV had limited stations, but plenty of movies available (although we only watched 1 since we were so busy outside in the beautiful surroundings!) Fished everyday and had firepit burning every night with an abundance of wood! Hot tub was fantastic addition! Loved canoeing around the lake as well (canoe was provided!) There is also a paddle boat and stand up paddle board. It was 59 steps from house to pier, but not bad unless you have a health condition which limits mobility. Didn’t bother us and absolutely LOVED our stay! There is also a fire pit up by the house which we used the first night, but used the fire pit by the lake/pier every night afterwards for the beautiful view. Can’t wait to return next year! Relaxing, peaceful getaway
My husband and and I spent a weekend at the Flower Moon cottage with our friends (another couple). The cottage was located in a beautiful spot, overlooking the lake. It was minus 20 outside, but the heating system and wood burning fireplace kept us warm and cozy. The cottage was clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed – including all the kitchen essentials. The living room was a great spot for relaxing in front of the fire. The bedroom we slept in was quite large and the bed was very comfortable. We went snowshoeing right from the cottage, following deer trails into the woods. I highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing, peaceful getaway, where you can be as active as you want to be. I would definitely go back.
Second year in a row
Had a great vacation for the 2nd year in a row. What a fantastic place to get away from everything. Cottage is great there’s everything you need there and more. Will probably book another week next summer! Thanks again Simone and Dan!!
What a piece of paradise!
What a piece of paradise! Thank you for sharing your retreat. My children and I had a wonderful relaxing weekend and never had a dull moment. The island was explored and the paddle boats were so fun. The view from the cottage is spectacular.
We left feeling rejuvenated
We voted this bit of paradise a 10 out of 10! The accommodations were exquisite and not a detail was missed. Plenty to do for both kids and adults, including board games, video games, water vessels and toys, and even a massage chair that loosened the pent up stress in our tired bodies. We left feeling rejuvenated! The lake is fresh and clean and the moon and stars reflect magically off it – a great view from the sprawling deck looking over the lake. I believe this is a place that will be difficult to reserve as the word spreads – I cannot imagine a more perfect place for a cottage getaway. I am looking forward to going back!
