Available are two very peaceful four-season waterfront retreats for rent on a beautiful and very private lake that can accommodate up to 8 or 10 people. The retreat is approximately 80 minutes (115 km’s) drive from downtown Ottawa. Amazing natural environment nearby. Many services including grocery, banks, convenience stores and restaurants are available in Gracefield which is only a 10 minute drive away.
The cottages are south facing towards the lake, each offers approximately 1600 square feet of living space, a 35′ wrap around deck with a view of the lake on 1 ½ acre very private lots, with approximately 140 feet of waterfront (each property) and very large docks. Each cottage has 2 levels. The Flower Moon layout offers 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining room and large entertainment room on the main level, and 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and laundry room on the lower level. The Harvest Moon offers 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and large entertainment room on the main level, and 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and laundry room on the lower level.
The cottages have high end laminate flooring throughout and the most impressive floor to ceiling stone, wood burning fireplaces. The properties also include a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, toaster, microwave oven, linens, towels, a large family room with large leather sofas, TV (with Satellite), DVD player (with a few movies for children and PG-13), PS2 gamming console (with many games, guitars, drums and microphones), lots of board and card games and a large 60BTU propane BBQ. Each cottage also has an outdoor fire pit with an abundant supply of firewood.
Our sparkling clean spring fed lake offers excellent swimming and fishing. Motor boats are allowed but we recommend no bigger than 16 feet.
NOTE: We also offer the option to rent both cottages at the same time.
