We spent a wonderful and relaxing weekend the Harvest Moon Cottage just before the start of school. The Northfield lake is a small spring-fed lake with a little island in the middle. The Kayak, canu, paddle boat and board were in use every day. The hot tub was easy to use and definitely one was the favourite features. We were surprised how well the kitchen was equipped in terms of tools and dishes. If you are missing something, you can just drive to Gracefield close by where you find everything in the local Metro.
This was our first time renting a cottage and we are definitely going to do so again.
Simone and Dan provide a fully equipped cottage from linens to a fantastic BBQ. This cottage has everything! We will be back and would recommend Harvest Moon. It does have a lot of stairs, a consideration for any elderly and really young family members.
Thanks to the owners for the care and attention given to the inside of the cottage and the outside. Everything you could possibly need is supplied. The place was very cleaned and organized. We were a family of 12 from the grand mother to the grand kids and we all enjoyed our week. The lake is safe for the kids for swimming, paddling and kayaking. Hot tub, fire pits were used every day. I never saw a cottage that well supplied we didn’t run out of anything. The owner Simone is very responsive if questions arise. The place was peaceful, relaxing and private.
We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. We had an amazing time at Harvest Moon Cottage late June 22-25.
The cottage was super clean and very well equipped. Almost anything everything you’ll need is available or you run short of. Extra propane bottles and toiletries. There’s sooo much to do with the kids. . Water activities or just explore the nature. Will be returning soon !!

We’ve been to these cottages two years in a row, and plan to make it a yearly retreat. The foliage is beautiful, the hot tubs are perfect for the cool weather, and some brave souls in our group even jump in the lake! Clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated and works well for our group of friends and their kids.
We were a family of 5- 3 adults 2 youths and had a fabulous week. We have rented many cottages, none were as well supplied and user friendly as this one. Dan and Simone thought of everything and the facilities were great. We also found some gems in Gracefield and went to L’huile D’olive twice for lunch, a fantastic treasure about half an hour away. I highly recommend this place.
We fully enjoyed the two weeks we spent at the Harvest Moon Cottage last August. The lake was beautiful and perfect for swimming, paddling, kayaking, or just relaxing on the dock. The view was different every day or hour. The cottage is well-equipped, and the owner Simone very responsive if questions arise. Groceries are only a 10-minute drive. We’ll be happy to come back.
It was our third time at the flower moon and harvest moon cottages and once again it was a lovely, peaceful stay. We always enjoy the views from the decks, the quiet lake and the comfortable, well-equipped cottage.
This is the second year in a row we have stayed a Moon Flower and it was, again, a WONDERFUL experience! Simone is so prompt and helpful with any questions and the house is as lovely as I remembered it. Great fishing and water activities are always a plus, and the hot tub was great even in July. My husband and I will be booking again next year!
We had our cousins reunion this past weekend (Feb. 22 – 23, 2019) and we were very impressed with the cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed. it was also very close to the town of Gracefield. We are hoping to go back again next winter.
